Flexible molds for creating unique designs



SILASTOSIL® M line molding and mold-making silicone rubbers are two-component room-temperature-vulcanizing RTV-2 silicone rubbers and ideal for casting and manufacturing of gypsum and plaster ornamentations, and other similar decoration elements in constructions. They are mainly used for casting solid urethanes, polyesters and epoxies where a free standing mold that can maintain a straight edge is required, such as cornice, column, balustrade, ceiling, pedestals, fountains, mantels, wall ornament, planter and other decorative building elements.


SILASTOSIL® M line molding and mold-making RTV-2 silicone rubbers are both pourable and brushable, easy to operate, especially ideal for molds with deep undercuts and for molds that require flexing for part removal. They resist tearing with repeated use, hold severe undercuts, and have outstanding properties:

- easy to mix and to operate

- adjustable working, operation and curing times

- easy de-molding

- excellent non-stick effect

- good resistance to most chemicals

- very good resistance to agressive components of some types of resins

- high degree of precision in reproduction

TERRAFLUID® line silicone fluids are ideal to adjust the hardness of the silicone rubber molds, and also to reduce the material cost. TERRASIL® AUX line additives for silicone rubbers are ideal to accelerate the curing process, and also to enhance mechanical properties of silicone rubbers.
